You’ve said ‘I do’. You’ve eaten copious amounts of wedding cake and you’ve danced the night away. Now it’s time to relax and unwind and adventure together on your honeymoon...

Bali is just one of those dream destinations with its stunning temples, misty rice fields, and breathtaking mountains. From your toes touching the sandy shores as you walk hand-in-hand witnessing sorbet sunsets, or your sun-kissed skin feeling the palms and fringes of the jungle as you explore adventures, Bali is....just, one-of-those-places.

Whether you're looking to relax, reconnect, or dive into adventure, Bali has it all. From lounging by a private pool to diving with manta rays or hiking volcano craters, this island offers something for every couple.

Why Choose Bali for Your Honeymoon?

Bali is not only budget-friendly but also packed with diverse activities for every kind of couple. If you're looking to unwind after the crazy wedding rush, Bali's luxury resorts, private pools, and rejuvenating massages are perfect. For adventurous couples, Bali offers thrilling experiences like cooking classes, white-water rafting, chasing waterfalls and so much more. Here's just some of Bali’s magic...

Paradise Beaches – finding Your Bliss...

While Bali's mainland beaches may not be the white-sand paradise you envision, their black sand shores have a unique beauty and are perfect for learning to surf on your honeymoon (or at least, sit on the beach, sipping cocktails and watching others ride the wave!) For a more secluded island vibe then try venturing to the smaller islands just off Bali's coast. Here, you’ll find car-free islands, grounding into the earth as you walk barefoot to your bamboo beach hut. Have fun snorkelling with turtles in the Gili Islands or diving with manta rays at Nusa Penida, these islands offer unforgettable experiences for your Bali honeymoon.

Island Adventures – Finding Your Adventure...

If you're the more adventure thrill-seeking couple, then Bali is your paradise playground. The island's diverse landscapes from active volcanoes, remote jungles, and serene lakes all offer endless activities. You can zipline through lush tropical treetops, hike to the top of a volcanic crater to witness breathtaking views, or explore white-water rafting through jungle rivers and waterfalls.

How to Visit Bali for Your Honeymoon

Bali has become a top honeymoon destination, with plenty of flight options from around the world. Since the island is small, you'll land at the main airport and reach most accommodations within a couple of hours or less. For convenience and a personal touch, we recommend booking a private driver in advance instead of renting a car – this just takes all the stress out of logistics, time management and arguing over who can read the map and who can navigate the roads! (We want your honeymoon and marriage to get off to a good start after all!). Taxis are always a good option too.

How Much Does a Bali Honeymoon Cost?

Bali is one of the most affordable honeymoon destinations, offering a range of accommodations from bamboo bungalows to upscale resorts. It’s much cheaper than traditional honeymoon hotspots like the Maldives or the Caribbean, but also offers you gorgeous sandy shores, sparking sunsets, jungle vibes and all things magical.

Exploring Bali is budget-friendly too—many activities, like visiting jungles, beaches, and temples, are free. Plus, you can enjoy authentic Indonesian food at very reasonable prices.

Best Time to Visit Bali for Your Honeymoon

Bali's rainy season runs from November to April, so for the best beach weather, we would recommend visiting from April to September when the days are warm and the waters are warm, perfect for diving and snorkeling. July and August can get busy, so if you prefer fewer crowds, try avoiding these months.

Do You Need a Visa for a Honeymoon in Bali?

If your Bali honeymoon is less than 30 days, you'll need a visa-on-arrival (VOA) or an e-VOA before you travel. The VOA is valid for 30 days and can be extended for another 30 days if you're planning a longer stay. The cost is $35 USD and can be paid in various currencies, including IDR, EUR, AUD, or USD.
